Project Summary

Thornes Park is a unique opportunity to blend the old with the new set in a superb park setting of over 60 hectares and sited strategically in the middle. The opportunity for JER is to apply through experience and expertise the scope and imagination to develop the site with their partner “Penny Appeal” an award winning international charity.

Working with Wakefield MDC and our other partners in Wakefield college to deliver this statement development will bring one of the first partnerships in the UK to work with and develop a community cohesion and is typified with the first inductive outlined.

JER are also working alongside three other key partners on this development. Wakefield Trinity, Wakefield FC and the Delta Academy are all contributing to sporting and educational opportunities in the district.
